This term we are learning about time for maths, we are also learning about chemical changes for science. For sport we are learning how to play Boccia, here are some photos of us on our second session. We are learning the rules of the game and technique from our instructor Martin.

Pop Tennis Sucess

This term we have been going to the tennis club for lessons with our instructor Martin. All of the boys have made progress this term but Conrad in particular has amazed us all with his tennis skills. Here is a video of him playing a tennis with Martin. The concentration and hand eye coordination involved in tennis can be challenging. Well done Conrad!

We have learnt so many new skills this term and we are getting very good at controlling the ball as well as scoring goals. Thank you Martin for taking the time to share your knowledge with us. OLYMPICS DAY

Tamaki Primary took part in Sommerville School's Olympic Ceremony. We dressed up in Jamaica's flag colours and marched through the atrium where we sang the national anthem, passed the torch and opened the games. We played heaps of fun games like javelin, discus, soccer, shot put and Hockey.
Don't we look fantastic!

New bike track at Tamaki Primary.

After the school holidays we came back to school and noticed a new bike track had been built. We were so excited to use it. The new track is very difficult so we need some help but already we are becoming more confident on our bikes.
