This term we have been working with some other classes at base on a very special performance with our Drama teacher Genevieve.
We will be performing at the Te Oro (Arts Centre in Glen Innes) at the end of this term.

Count and Match
Todia has been working on counting a group of objects and finding the corresponding number. Learning how to count 1:1 is a tricky skill. Todia was able to complete this activity with no support to show that he has mastered this skill. Well done Todia, we are so proud of how much you have learnt this year.

Beginning and Ending Sounds
Hugo has been working very hard on his beginning and ending sounds. In this activity he has to identify if the "n" sound is at the beginning or end of the word. Well done Hugo, this was a very challenging activity!

Splatter Painting by Jackson Pollack
This term we are learning about famous artists. We did a painting style by Jackson Pollack. We used sticks, straws and paintbrushes to drip paint on paper. We had so much fun. Check out this video of us creating our masterpieces!

Just Keep Swimming!
This term we are lucky enough to get funding so we can continue our lessons with Helen. We continue to make huge gains in our swimming skills which is fundamental for swimming safety in a country like New Zealand with lots of beaches. Look at us working with small groups in the big pool.
