Imaginative Play
Hugo likes making birthday cakes in the sandpit. He fills up a bucket of water from the water fountain, adds sand, pats in down and puts a candle in it. Lauren is helping Hugo to blow out the candles. Great cake Hugo!

Predictable Chart Writing
Each week we write a story altogether as a class. This week we are writing a story about places we like to go. We put our name next to our sentence each day and read our sentence out loud. We also put our sentence in order and find a picture to go with our sentence.

Swimming at Lagoon
This year we are continuing our swimming lessons at Lagoon Pools. We are fortunate enough to have our instructor, Helen for term 1 this year. We are learning how to float in the water, roll onto our backs and swim the length of the big pool. Look at us go!
Shared Reading at Tamaki Primary
This week our big book is, "The Pig in the Pond". We are learning about onomatopoeia words in our book. We were each given a word from the book and when our word was read out we had to hold up our word and read it out loud. We had so much fun!
